@CassieLopez When I was Heather’s age; I would have given my right arm to be in the movies. I know it’s long hard work and I knew it then. As an entertainer; I still want to be. I was a lonely child who was also an only child and a minister’s son who never had anyone to play with my entire childhood; so I never knew the difference and would have considered a film shoot like this one a welcome change and a paradise from being relentlessly teased and bullied by the other children at school.

  2. I am 24 yrs old, and I still watch it over and over, I even have the soundtrack in my car and play it all the time. My fiance is always saying “I can’t wait till we have kids then it won’t seem weird that you have that cd.”

  3. @litaroxforever What “chance” are you talking about? What we saw on the film is not what she experienced – she experienced many months of separation from her family, long days of work – keep in mind she was a small child – no one to play with, and ending up with her family breaking up and never getting back what she lost when she went to make this film. It’s great that Adrian Hall did so well and had the strength to be able to handle it all, but it’s not surprising that Heather had such trouble.

Adrian Hall seems happy, settled and friendly, but that Heather… Jeeesus. She seems a bit bitter. Moan, moan, whine, whine… Cheer up, lady. Not many other kids had the chance you got as a kiddie.

  5. That Heather is a head case- moan moan moan about everything

  6. its on stage in Nottingham start of next year, at the Theatre Royal,

  7. Good to know that Adrian Hall has adjusted so well – he comes across as a good bloke. BUT, this Heather? Could ANYTHING make her happy?

  8. I just watched this movie after eating some shrooms, hilarious.
